Selain menjadi spot olahraga Paralayang, Objek wisata Bukit Paralayang Watu Gupit juga menyimpan banyak keindahan. Dari bukit paralayang yang berada diatas pantai Watu Gupit ini pengunjung dapat menikmati pemandangan indah deretan pantai di Bantul, mulai dari pantai Watu Gupit, pantai Parangtritis, hingga pantai Depok.

Di Bukit Paralayang Watu Gupit ini juga tersedia banyak tempat duduk dan gazebo, dimana pengunjung dapat menikmati pemadangan deretan pantai tersebut sambil menikmati secangkir kopi dan bercengkerama bersama teman.

Kala hari beranjak sore, tempat wisata ini menjadi teman untuk menikmati matahari yang perlahan mulai turun dan bersembunyi di antara lautan. Dikala malam sudah datang pun, spot wisata ini juga menampilkan pemandangan alam yang begitu indah dihiasi bulan dan ribuan bintang di langit.

Lokasi

Tempat wisata Bukit Paralayang Watu Gupi terletak di desa Giricahyo Kecamatan Purwosari atau berada diperbatasan antara Kabupaten Gunungkidul dan Kabupaten Bantul. Untuk mencapai tempat wisata ini terdapat dua jalan, yang pertama melalui TPR Parangtritis, namun disini akan dikenai retribusi masuk pantai Parangtritis karena melewai pantai Parangtritis. Atau pengunjung bisa melewati SPN Selopamiro dan tembus di JJLS Panggang. Jalur kedua melewati kecamatan Panggang, Gunungkidul dan tembus di JJLS Panggang-Purwosari. Dari sana akan akan petunjuk jalan masuk menuju objek wisata tersebut. Jalan masuk yang sudah beraspal sepenuhnya ini memiliki lebar sekitar 4 meter sejauh kurang lebih 2 kilometer. Pengunjung diharapkan untuk selalu berhati-hati mengingat ada beberapa tanjakan/turunan di jalan ini.

Tempat wisata Bukit Paralayang Watu Gupit ini hanya dapat menampung kendaraan roda dua hingga bus berukuran kecil.
