Lokasi

Pantai Wediombo terletak di desa Balong, kecamatan Girisubo yang berjarak kurang lebih 40 km dari pusat kota Wonosari, ibukota Gunungkidul. Jalannya yang berliku dan naik turun akan membuat bus berukuran besar kesulitan untuk mencapai tempat wisata di Gunungkidul ini.

Ada dua jalur yang dapat dilewati oleh pengunjung untuk mencapati tempat wisata ini, yang pertama melewati kecamatan Rongkop, cocok untuk pengunjung yang melewati daerah Pracimantoro. Jalur yang kedua melewati kecamatan Tepus, cocok bagi pengunjung yang dari wilayah Barat Gunungkidul. Namun di kedua jalur tersebut jalannya sempit antara 4-5 meter dan berliku-liku.

Tempat wisata ini memiliki tempat parkir yang lumayan luas, dan dapat menampung belasan mobil.
