Selayang Pandang

Pantai Nglambor atau sering juga disebut Pantai Lambor, merupkan pantai pasir putih yang memiliki batu karang yang didalamnya terdapat banyak ikan hias. Sekilas pantai ini mirip pantai Kukup beberapa tahun silam. Saat air pasang, dapat dimanfaatkan untuk berenang maupun snorkling.

Pantai Nglambor tidak memilik hamparan pasir pantai yang luas seperti Pantai Pulang Syawal maupun Pantai Sepanjang. Namun pantai ini memiliki keindahan lain karena diapit oleh dua bukit di kanan dan kirinya. Selain itu terdapat sebuah bukit di ujung karang yang berbatasan dengan laut dalam.

Lokasi

Untuk mencapai Pantai Nglambor, pengunjung yang dari Wonosari mengambil arah Tepus (arah pantai Pulang Syawal / Indrayanti) hingga bertemu sebuah pertigaan dengan mini market modern ambil ke arah kiri, dimana arah ke kanan menuju Pantai Pulang Syawal. Pertiggaan pantai Siung ambil kiri hingga melewati TPR menuju pantai Siung, hingga nanti bertemu sebuah papan penunjuk. Jalan masuk menuju pantai Nglambor berada di turunan sebelum jembatan, pengunjung mengambil jalan ke arah kanan.

Akses jalan dari pusat ibukota kabupaten Gunungkidul, Wonosari, sudah hampir semuanya berupa jalan aspal. Namun jalan masuk menuju pantai masih berupa jalan berbatu. Bahkan beberapa ratus meter sebelum tiba dipantai, jalannya masih berbatu putih dan berupa turunan sehingga kendaraan tidak dapat masuk hingga tepi pantai terutama mobil. Namun jangan kuatir, diatasnya terdapat parkir untuk motor dan mobil.
