Pantai Siung terletak di Tepus, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. Pantai berkarang dan berpasir putih ini memiliki pemandangan yang sungguh indah. Pantai yang diapit oleh dua bukit ini menjadi habitat ikan hias di tepi pantai.

Objek wisata yang memiliki pantai yang panjang ini cocok untuk dijadikan tempat wisata camping. Namun perlu diingat untuk tidak membuat api unggun di pasirnya karena dapat merusak pasir yang ada.

Lokasi

Pantai Siung berada di desa Purwodadi, Kecamatan Tepus, Kabupaten Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. Untuk mencapai pantai Siung, pengunjung dari arah Jogja dapat melalui kota Wonosari untuk kemudian mengambil arah ke Pantai Indrayanti. Ketika sampai di pertigaan Mulo atau pertigaan setelah kolam renang, pengunjung mengambil jalan ke kiri dan lurus hingga sampai di pertigaan Tepus. Di pertigaan Tepus pengunjung mengambil arah kiri hingga bertemu penunjuk arah ke pantai Siung.

Untuk pengunjung tempat wisata ini yang dari Pracimantoro, dapat mengambil arah Sadeng hingga bertemu pertigaan dengan tugu di tengah jalan ambil ke arah kanan. Hingga bertemu papan penunjuk arah ke pantai Siung. Kedua jalan ini telah memiliki papan penunjuk arah.

Jalan menuju tempat wisata ini sudah seluruhnya beraspal dengan lebar 4-5 meter. Selain itu objek wisata di Gunungkidul ini juga mampu menampung kendaraan hingga sekelas bus pariwisata dan didukung dengan tempat parkir yang luas.

Namun hingga tulisan ini dibuat, kendaraan umum hanya sampai di kota Tepus. Belum ada kendaraan umum yang mengantar hingga ke lokasi pantai.
