Pantai Trenggale terletak disebelah timur pantai Pulang Syawal atau yang lebih dikenal dengan pantai Indrayanti.
Pantai ini memiliki hamparan pasir putih yang lumayan luas. Sebagaimana sebagian besar pantai di Gunungkidul, pantai Trenggale memiliki deretan karang di bibir pantai.
Pantai yang diapit oleh dua bukit ini pun masih jarang dikunjugi wisatawan.

Lokasi

Jalur pertama melalui pusat kota dan melewati kecamatan Tanjungsari. Jalur ini tidak direkomendasikan untuk kendaraan besar karena jalannya yang berkelok-kelok dan naik turun dengan lebar jalan sekitar 4 meteran, sehingga akan kesulitan apabila berpapasan dengan bus.

Jalur kedua melalui kecamatan Tepus, jalur ini juga memiliki jalur berkelok meskipun tidak sebanyak jalur Tanjungsari. Namun pengemudi kendaraan besar diharapkan tetap berhati-hati ketika melalui jalur yang memiliki lebar jalan 4-5 meter ini.

Jalur ketiga adalah melalui kecamatan Paliyan dan tembus di JJLS, Jalur ini memiliki lebar antara 4-6 meter dengan kelokan yang minim dan hampir tidak ada tanjakan. Jalur ini sangat direkomendasikan untuk dilewati kendaraan besar, apalagi jalan ini terhubung dengan JJLS Gunungkidul.

Pantai Trenggale terletak di sebelah Timur dari pantai Pulang Syawal. Akses tercepat apabila kita dari kota Wonosari adalah dengan lewat Tepus, yaitu pertigaan Tepus (ada toko Indomaret) belok kiri hingga bertemu halaman parkir pantai Pulang Syawal. Di ujung antara tempat parkir dan bibir pantai masuk pada sebuah gang konblok mengarah ke timur. Lurus sekitar 200 meter.

Akses jalan masuk ke pantai Trenggale hanya berupa jalan konblok dengan lebar sekitar dua meter dan hanya cukup untuk motor.

Apabila anda pengguna kendaraan roda empat atau bus, bisa memarkirkan kendaraan di parkiran pantai Pulang Syawal atau yang lebih dikenal sebagai pantai Indrayanti dan berjalan kaki menuju pantai Trenggale yang hanya berjarak sekitar 200 meter dari parkiran Pantai Indrayanti.
